When your brain starts working again, you get a lot “aha” moments throughout the day. It’s almost like learning to ride a bike. In the beginning you don’t get it no matter how hard you try. You try to cycle, but you don’t know how. And then just like that, you’re doing it! At least that was how it was for me and my sister when we were four. As soon as we learned, we were gone. I had the same feeling when my brain started functioning again. I finally understood all those things that seemed to be so complicated.
